Fish Crackers (魚酥/鱼酥)
The famous fish crackers from "許義魚酥" @ 淡水 (Danshui).
Barely 1 hour away from Taipei via the subway, Danshui was a fishing port and its roots can be clearly seen from the various famous seafood related food and cuisines.
During the trip last year, my mate missed out on this shop as it was closed. This year, I was much luckier.
As highly recommended by my mate - this is clearly the best of the many fish crackers on sale in town. It is crunchy without being greasy; fishy without being stinky.
