Perhaps the most traditional form of the omnipresent Braised Pork Belly? Thick pieces of moist pork belly braised until soft, accompanied by fried tofu pieces with soysauce.
Compared to the usual sweetness associated with this dish, this version was a tad more savoury, which wasn't all half bad. The fried tofu had absorbed the sauces in abundance and they tasted wonderful with rice.
