Naxi Butter Tea (云南纳西酥油茶)

Yunnan has adopted it to their own ways. Butter and Tea are prepared separately, and later on, items such walnut paste and eggs are added into the mixture, and so in the end, one gets a murky slight off-white product of a drink.

 

Not too bad at all. Wasn't very buttery, neither was it very strong in tea either. Seems to come off as its own creation. Very smooth in texture with a lovingly sweet creamy mouthfeel. It has a slight nutty but also mild floral tea finish. Very beguiling beverage!
