Sichuan Pot Lid Bread (四川成都锅魁)

Brekkie @ a famous local Pot Lid Bread shop - '严太婆锅魁', on our way to Wenshu Temple.

 

In the meantime, one places the order for the fillings....all spicy and numbing of course (this is Sichuan you know). The shop offers both meat and vegetarian options. All the ingredients (already pre-cooked) were then mixed in a bowl with more spices and flavoured oil (sesame oil, chilli oil etc), ready for the bread to be pulled out of the oven.
