I have earlier introduced this franchised chain of pan-fried meat buns. Besides the famous buns, which draws long queues of people to the branches, the shops also serve a number of different types of soups. This is one slightly more peculiar offering - a curry soup, served with beef, beef blood cubes and pieces of fried tofu.
It's not exactly curry, mind you. It is actually more turmeric than anything else....so in fact, it should be called turmeric beef soup. The warm earthy medicinal taste of the turmeric dominates the dish. Every other ingredient plays second fiddle to the turmeric.
It may not be for everyone.
