Spicy & Numbing Frog Legs (馋嘴牛蛙)
Dinner @ Tomato "蕃茄" Restaurant in Hangzhou.
This technically, is not Hangzhou cuisine. It's from Sichuan. Anything that is spicy and numbing is almost always from Sichuan.
Lots of oil, dried chillies, garlic, cucumber juliennes and of course, frog legs.
Meat cooked in oil. I tell you - it is more tender than cooking in water.
Naturally appetising; naturally delicious!
