Danshui Shrimp Rolls (淡水蝦捲/淡水虾卷)

Another famous culinary must-try in Danshui - the famous fried shrimp rolls from '阿香蝦捲'.

 

A filling made from minced shrimps with pork and spices, wrapped into thin wonton skins, rolled up, skewered and deep fried. You can consume a stick of them freshly fried on the spot, dipped into various condiments such as sweet chilli sauce etc.

 

A most lovely seafoody experience! Ate 2 sticks; would have had more if not for the fact I need to leave space for other Danshui goodies. Sigh!
