Steamed Yam Dumplings (芋頭粿/芋头粿)

Steamed yam dumplings always go hand in hand with the steamed herb dumplings.

 

I like this dumpling a lot more. The filling is generally made from chunks of cubed yams, shiitake mushroom, fried onions, dried shrimps and glutinous rice.

 

Extremely fragrant and all savoury goodness.
