Three-Cups King Oyster Mushrooms (三杯杏鲍菇)

Dinner @ '阿榮邵族麵' (0492856876.mmmtravel.com.tw/?ptype=info) at Sun Moon Lake (日月潭).

 

I love the Taiwanese Three-Cups dishes. There is something about the combination of sesame oil, soysauce and Chinese cooking wine that I adored. Earlier, I had featured a Three-Cups Native Chicken and now, the vegetarian version with King Oyster Mushrooms.

 

Truthfully, I would take the meat versions any day. It was delicious but the dish lacked a little of the umami pizzazz that meat brings to a dish.
