Pig's Blood Cake (猪血糕)

Snacking at Sun Moon Lake (日月潭).

 

Like Blood Sausages, this isn't 'Twilight'. There is hardly any taste of blood or iron for that the matter. In fact, it actually tasted sweet and peanutty with the sticky texture of glutinous rice.

 

And it fills one up quickly.
