The peaches of Taiwan are legendary for their sweetness, suppleness and juiciness. They are also extremely fragrant, capable of perfuming the air, intoxicating all within its fragrant reaches. They have since come to be known as "Honey Water Peaches" and demand is high during the fruiting months during summer.
My travel mate, a BIG fan of fruits, was thrilled to bits, as we were in Taiwan at the height of the peach season, and there is no better place to be than in Cingjing [清境] where there are plenty of fruit orchards and farms.
