Fried Ribbon Fish (煎带鱼)

Lunch @ Shihtiping (石梯坪), along the Hualian Ocean Road.

 

A Korean colleague always rave about the Ribbon Fish and how much he adores it. So when we saw the fish on offer on the menu, my mate decided to give it a try.

 

I am never a fan of fish dishes. As fish goes, the flesh is tender but there is nothing out of the ordinary here. Plus, it's full of bones, which makes it even less enticing for myself.
