Tofu With Century Egg (皮蛋豆腐)

Dinner @ '桃源街正宗山東牛肉麵'.

 

This was one of 2 cold dishes me and my mate picked.

 

Cold tofu, soya sauce, shaved katsuobushi and preserved egg made for a lovely combo. A grand coalition of juxtaposition of flavours: light flavour vs strong flavour, smooth vs rough, bland vs salty, tender vs yolky.

 

Something simple; everything complex.
