Pumpkin Cake
Tea at the famous Majestic Cafe in Porto, a 'must' that my mate insisted.
I had scones and they turn out magnificently fluffy and moist, unlike the rocks I was served at most places in the World. (No, no pictures of scones here, they aren't very Portuguese aren't they?)
My mate wanted something "special" and the waiter recommended the cake of the day - a pumpkin cake. It was a tad dry and once again too sweet. My mate had scoffed at my choices of "boring scones", but they turned out to be the best thing we had at the Cafe.
I put my palm up to my nose and needlessly, needled my mate "neh neh neh neh neh"....
