Strawberry Compote Pancakes

Breakfast @ Blue Chair Restaurant, Carrum, Melbourne, Australia.

 

It was the nearest restaurant to my former home and I like the food served at the spot.

 

I was in the mood for pancakes and their offering of a strawberry compote version answered my need perfectly. The pancake was fluffy and soft and absorbed the sweetness and tanginess of the compote perfectly.
