Xi An Steamed Sweet Cakes [西安八宝玫瑰镜糕]

This reminds me so much of Kueh Tu Tu back home.

 

Rice flour is steamed for a few minutes into little cakes and then served coated with sweet items such as candies, syrup, dried fruits etc. Very popular with young kids and young adults.
