Baked Cod With Garlic & Butter

You know it's Portuguese when you see cod. Except in this case, it's with fresh cod and not the salted variant.

 

This dish was the signature dish of the restaurant, having won some award in a competition. The richness of the butter and the savoriness of the fried garlic complimented the fattiness of the cod well. My table couldn't get enough of this dish.
