Braised Pigs' Tails [红烧猪尾]

Dinner @ a Chinese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.

 

I love pig's tails, especially when they are braised so soft (for many hours) that the skin, fat and meat just melt off the bone in your mouth.

 

Yes, it can be quite animalic. Definitely fatty. But it wouldn't be braised pig's tails if these delectable traits are missing.
