Sarawak Kolo Noodles
Lunch @ a restaurant offering Sarawakan chow in Kuala Lumpur (as my ex-colleague hailed from Sarawak, an Eastern Malaysian state)
My ex-colleague was disappointed in the noodle as he deemed it not authentic enough. This version was served with dark soy sauce hence the noodles were stained dark. He preferred his version without the dark soy sauce. I thought it was decent enough but it would take me another 3 years before I finally taste the real McCoy (Please see "Culinary Kuching" series)
