Malaysian Beef Rendang
This was offering from the same eatery that we went for Roti Canai.
Malaysian Beef Rendang is different from Indonesia Beef Rendang. The latter is much drier, darker, more savoury and has roasted and coffee-ish nuances. The former is served drowned in curry gravy, rich with the taste of coconut milk and sweet with the aroma of toasted coconut flakes (Kerisik).
