Achar

This was offering from the same eatery that we went for Roti Canai.

 

Achar is local pickled vegetables, usually juliennes of carrot, cucumber and turnip. One may also find pineapple and onion. Most of the time, chilli is added to infuse a spicy kick and roasted peanuts added to impart a crunchy texture.
