综合嫩仙草 Chin Chow Dessert
Dessert from "玉冠嫩仙草".
This spot in Magong City packs in the crowds, young and old!
Grass Jelly or Chin Chow is a popular dessert in Taiwan....made by boiling the leaves of the Mesona chinensis plant, a member of the mint family, and then allowing the mixture to cool and solidify into a jelly-like substance. Served cold, it is almost always paired with a variety of side ingredients such as tapioca pearls, taro cubes, red bean, etc etc. A splash of milk adds creaminess to complete the ensemble.
I had opted to try the "All-In Combination", which contained a bit of everything that the shop offers.
