Apple Cinnamon Scroll

Snack from Ningaloo Bakehouse & Cafe (Exmouth).

 

I love the "iced" stuff in Australia: Iced finger buns being one of my simple pleasures.

The "ice" is actually royal icing....sometimes with added desiccated coconut (like the version featured here) or with colourful hundreds-&-thousands.

I enjoy a good apple and cinnamon anything too, so an iced apple cinnamon scroll was too tempting to deny it.

For those who are not familiar with baking....a scroll is basically a spiral of baked bread.

 

My only complaint: Too many raisins. More apple is always better (grin).
