Singapore Breakfast (Toasts, Eggs & Coffee)
Hello 2024!
Not quite the first ray of sun (the sky managed to squeeze out some spears of light through the thick and grouchy monsoonal clouds this time of year) but enough to shine bright what Singaporeans generally call 'Breakfast': Crunchy toast served with Kaya spread (coconut jam), sans butter for me, soft-boiled eggs with dark soy sauce and white pepper and of course, coffee "Siew Dai" (aka less sweet).
