French Toast Shokupan
Coffee @ "Paaru".
"thick cut shokupan, kuromitsu, cocoa nibs, sea salt & fresh cream"
Kuromitsu is a Japanese sugar syrup similar to molasses, but thinner and milder. Kinda like maple syrup? I did enjoy this item since I do like French Toast and the Kuromitsu was the brown sweet element to add that finishing touch to elevate the taste. The cocoa nibs added a chocolatey crunch while the salted cream added a sliver of saltiness to cut the sweetness. I saw other folks adding a slice of thick bacon and immediately thought that would have been the cherry atop the parfait to make this dish a home run!
