Darwin Laksa (Seafood)
From the famous stall @ Mindil Beach Sunset Market (Darwin).
Sweet coconutty is the draw.
Not a pip squeak of any “spicyness”.
With added raw wom bok cabbage juliennes (for crunch?) but traditional laksas do not contain raw vegetable so this was quite peculiar for myself.
I opted for a seafood version with prawns, fish ball halves and rings of squid.
Folks were adding heaps of chopped cilantro, spring onion, fried shallots and chopped peanuts, so in all honesty, this wasn’t the Laksa I know…..but I guess this is the version from Darwin?
