Apple & Pork Pie

It was a rainy day and this seems to be a famous bakery in Keswick to take refuge in for lunch.
Pies seems to a thing at this place and the idea of an apple and pork pie (not that commonly seen) was intriguing. Apple and pork made a good pair so it is puzzling that not more of this pairing is seen in savoury confectionary.
Despite promises, the taste was perfunctory. It was decent with the well seasoned and peppery pork filing broken up by soft cubes of apples. I was expecting more I guess perhaps a tad unreasonably.
