Baked Figs Pudding

Dinner @ "The Outsider".

 

"Baked figs, crushed amaretti, vanilla ice cream and honey"

 

Figs? Amaretti? Vanilla ice cream? Honey? In a pudding? This was an easy choice for dessert.

 

Not quite sticky toffee or date pudding in terms of brownness but the baked figs delivered a more subtle caramelic and fruity tonality that worked well with the generally lighter combination. Maybe honey pudding would be a more suitable name perhaps? Enjoyable nonetheless.
