"Fried smashed baby potatoes, mala dressing, lao gan ma mayo"

 

My personal best dish of the evening!

I never knew that I can enjoy potato so much (grin)

 

The combo of Chinese flavours - Sichuan Mala (Hot & Numbing) and Lao Gan Ma (a condiment) lent culinary depths and panache to otherwise, what I always opined, bland potatoes.

 

Sweet, Salty, Spicy, Umami - Very moreish - I went back for a second spud!
