Roasted Pork Belly & Potatoes

Lunch @ "The Masses".

 

"64c egg. pomme puree. smoked eggplant. chilli oil. pickled celtuce. lap cheong"

 

Very good (heavenly) crackling.....although I find the pork belly slices cut a tad too thick and so the meat while prepared well...was a tad too chunky to enjoy.

 

It was novel to pair pig with pig....sweet Chinese sausage to go with roasted pork belly...all piggy deliciousness....

 

But I do find the smoked eggplant and soft-boiled egg detached from the dish.....what are we supposed to do with them?

 

The birthday gal at my table went gaga over the ultra-silky mashed potato.
