Braised Vegetable

Dinner @ "Unagi Futaba".

 

I quickly redeemed my good grace with mum with a second part of dinner with warm Unagi Kabayaki Don.

 

This was the side dish that came with the rice.

Surprisingly potent with flavours, which belied their innocent looking appearance! I do believe they were braised in a dashi broth and the vegetable absorbed all that lovely savouriness.

Done
