Sweet Endings: Iced Sweet Potatoes

A frozen 3-types-of-sweet-potatoes mashed slushy "ice cream" wafer to end the meal of a wondrous note...and nothing can be more fitting than the humble sweet potato, a signature ingredient in the quintessential Taiwanese rice porridge staple.

 

The 3 types of sweet potatoes gelled together to swirl forth different flavours and texture - delivering different tones, facets and releases; the wondrous golden caramelic goo that binded the sturdy yellowish chunks that were the pillar of bites and in between, paler but sweeter marshmallowy bits laid hidden and shy; never have I expected such an inconspicuous ingredient be coaxed into a shining star.
