黑糖红枣豆花加芋圆 (Soybean Curd With Brown Sugar, Red Dates and Yam Pearls)

Dessert @ "學堂豆花圓".

 

Soybean curd is a popular dessert in Taiwan and I do love the flavour combo of brown sugar and red dates as the deep brownness complimented the ethereal taste of soybean curd very beautifully.

 

Unfortunately, the curd itself was slightly on the "curdy" side and wasn't silky-smooth enough. Pity.
