Nem Lụi (Vietnamese Pork Lemongrass Skewers)

Cooking class via "Awesome Travels" in Hanoi.

Nem Lụi is a specialty in the former imperial capital, Hue. It's made with ground pork, sometimes also beef, and a variety of spices. The mixture is placed on a lemongrass stalk and grilled. It's a classy version of meat on a stick. The result is a flavourful smoky meat that can be dipped in chilli sauce, or wrapped up in a sheet of rice paper with your favorite herbs and dipped in a special Hue fermented soy bean sauce. If you're in Hue, it's a must try. If you see it outside of Hue, it's still a must try.

It was one of the dishes picked by other attendees of the class.
