Noodle Soup With Pork
Lunch @ a noodle shop just outside the Plains Of Jars Site 2.
This is probably the Laotian version of the Vietnamese Pho, in a version called "Lao feuhr rice noodles", as thin noodles were served hot in a broth, served with either pork or chicken (I chose pork). And like the Pho, you can dunk in fresh greens, herbs, chillies along with squeezes of lime.
In all fairness, I think the broth was probably prepared with processed stock but hey, my group was between sights and our stomachs were growling - there was no time to split hairs with semantics.
Tasty and it did the job!
