Pol Pani (Coconut Jaggary) Waffle

The lounge has noisy neighbours - a pub that was determined to bring the house down. I was telling mate this place will not survive too long in its current location as drinking and enjoying tea....does not go along with vibrating walls and deafening music.
And this is a clear case of a place that really should not be attempting to serve food...or doing a terrible job about it.
The topping of coconut flavoured with jaggary was pretty sweet and tasty but the waffle was a chewy rubbery mess of a travesty. Mate concluded that the batter was wrong. It was too bad as well as this was the last item we had in Sri Lanka before we bade farewell.
