Brown sugar pearls bubble tea from "老虎堂", that came with a long queue! (WOW!!)
Unless you have been living under a rock, brown sugar anything (especially the version with added brown sugar flavoured pearls) is now the IN-trend, manifests most vividly via the popular bubble tea culture!
I had the version with milk - the simplest version with mixed pearls.
Quite frankly, I can SMELL the wondrous sweet-caramelic brown sugar but not really taste the brown sugar.
Aroma >> Taste.

I am not a fan of the "QQ" (aka chewy) pearls that the Taiwanese love so ordering a cup was simply to satisfy my curiosity. Also, as I am not entirely lactose-tolerant....thus half the cup was eventually discarded.
Was it OMG?
