Mountain & Sea Don (山海丼)

Lunch @ Tokyo National Museum's Cafe by Hotel Okura.

 

My choice of lunch - a "humble" choice of rice adorned with the flavours of the mountain (mushrooms) and tastes of the sea (salmon and salmon roes).

 

This combo is "deadly" umami - I was happy to be intoxicated by all the bombastic deliciousness.
