Pork Medallions Katsu

Dinner @ "Marugo" (丸五).

 

When the medallions arrived cut so thick, I was quietly dismayed....expecting chewy tough coins of meat. I took a small bite was quite mind-blowingly amazed. Across the table, my mate was biting into his and arching an eyebrow. "Wow" we both exclaimed.

 

These has to be the BEST ever fried pork I ever had. EVER.

Superlatives!!!

They were so so so tender, juicy and moist.

How could it be impossible as we surmised and mused while we wolved down each morsel with growing satisfaction.

 

I am still amazed today.
