三色冷盘 (油爆虾/爆鱼/拌黄瓜) Three-Dishes Appetiser Sampler

Lunch @ "鲜得来", a traditional culinary bastion in the city, famed for its fried pork ribs and rice cakes.

 

A sampler of deep fried seafood (fish and prawns) and marinated cucumber to go along with the main - deep-fried pork ribs and rice cakes.

 

The prawns were not too fresh and they were quite small. The fish is a river fish, commonly consumed in the Yangtze River Delta - and I leave it to my mate to polish it off...since I am not a fan of fish to start off with and certainly, not the more muddy-tasting full-of-bones river fishes.
