面筋白叶单档 (Gluten and Bean Curd Skin Minced Pork Dumplings)

Lunch @ "鲜得来", a traditional culinary bastion in the city, famed for its fried pork ribs and rice cakes.

 

Pork dumplings are popular in Shanghai, although it needn't always need a kneaded doughy skin - deep-fried gluten and bean curd skin will do just as well for the skin and here, the eatery served them in a pair in a soup, unfortunately, tasted of nothing but just MSG and nothing more.
