德大色拉 (Potato Salad)

Lunch @ "德大西菜社" (De Da Western Food Restaurant), an old-school Shanghainese Western (海派西餐) restaurant.

 

A very done potato salad - the potato cubes were delectably al dente and not disgustingly mushy. It was also creamy, sweet from the mixed vegetable and savoury from the ham cubes.

 

I had low expectations for this and was truly dumbfounded how tasty this dish was.
