Pakse-Style Pork Sausage

Lunch @ "Lao Kitchen", a popular and more "catered-to-tourist-taste-bud's" Laotian food restaurant in Vientiane.

 

"A little spicier than the Luang Prabang-style, this Southern sausage is made with added coconut cream and dried chillies"

 

For some reason, the usage of coconut cream and dried chillies invoked comparison against Laksa spices. Plump, juicy and heavenly spiced up, this sausage was extremely enjoyable and was a perfect companion for the glutinous rice my table has ordered.
