One of an expat magazine's top 3 pick for Eggs Benedict. The restaurant serves 3 combos: smoked salmon & cheddar and ham & cheddar cheese and the less traditional but more Sino-ised BBQ duck & spring onion.

 

It was an intriguing combo - Eggs Benedict meets Beijing Roasted Duck. The Eggs Benedict themselves were rather small, probably the smallest I have seen in my life; leaning closer to an amuse bouche serving.

 

The flavours of the Eggs Benedict were quite alright but I took a greater liking to the sides of sauteed mushrooms, which came across with a surprisingly pleasant hint of cocoa. The roasted potatoes were unfortunately over done - too charred and dried up for my liking.

 

Again, I have had better Eggs Benedict elsewhere and I do not think it was worth a Top 3 billing.
