阿宝家沙姜蒸鸡 (Steamed Chicken With Galangal)

A return to "阿宝家" for dinner.

 

There were more chopped roasted peanuts than galangal so the taste was more nutty than earthy. To the dish's credit, the chicken was tender, even the chicken breast, although some parts of the chicken was a tad underdone - the bones were still bloody red.
