桂花条头糕 (Osmanthus Glutinous Rice Red Bean Paste Rolls)

Lunch from "南阳路粢饭团" again.

 

Something sweet to end the meal - a traditional Shanghainese snack cum dessert.

 

This is also fairly common in southern China although in Singapore, it is disappearing as western desserts gain grounds against traditional ones.

 

I like the chewy and stringly texture of the rolls and the sweet red bean paste was surprisingly very aromatic and sweet.
