冰花煎饺 (Snow Lattice Dumplings)

Lunch @ "老边饺子".

 

I personally prefer the pan-fried dumpling versions and here, I ordered the mixed meat (beef and pork) filling. These are commonly called "snow lattice" dumplings because of the formation of intricate lacework-like batter patterns at the base of the pan during frying.

 

Extremely delicate and beautiful to look at.

 

Equally tasty too!
