Today's Soup
The flavour of the day @ "Restoran Boban", a spot in the city highly recommended by our AirBnB host, for tasty soups! (The chef or owner of the place will cook with whatever that they can get in the markets that morning)
For 38 Kunas, this was 1 of 2 flavours of the day:
Stew with turkey, chicken, chickpeas, leek, peas, string beans, carrot, parsley, celery, potato and tomato.
(The other was stew cream with parsley, truffles, carrot, celery and potato + polenta + vegetable wand)
I can tell you that the BIG bowl of soup (shared between 2 mates) was a nourishing one can get out of soups! Very tasty, almost additive and as my mate remarked, full of every natural goodness that can unbuckle our pants!
It also restored humour back to our travels, after suffering a strain the day before.
