Roasted Goose Leg

Dinner @ "Cafe Intenzo". (We were determined to make amends after the 'fiasco' of a 1st time Hungarian lunch)

 

One of the mains ordered and it was excellent. Granted that the goose leg was a little chunky (fibrous) at spots, it was very well flavoured and definitely adequately roasted. I especially adored the seemingly pan-fried sauerkraut - a huge difference from the standard wet pickles we had been experiencing. The slightly grilled and smokiness brought out interesting profiles and tastes - was telling mate that it tasted like pan-fried "Mei Cai" (Chinese Preserved Mustard Greens) and I couldn't have enough of it!
