The efferverscent waiter offered house Limoncello at the end of the meal. They made it not just with lemons but with a mix of oranges. The aroma was actually more fragrant with oranges than lemons.
Mate was utterly thrilled. Seeing that my mate was enjoying his cuppa, the waiter returned with the entire bottle for his consumption. I had pictures of him 'drunk' with glee.
He tried to coax me to try some; I sipped my coffee and refused to entertain him.
We kinda ended the first night being slightly grouchy towards each other. But at least, he got his free many cuppas of drinkable ethanol.
